My first ever experience playing FEZ was at PAX Prime in Seattle last year. Six months ago since I played that fifteen minute demo and I still remember it like it was a week ago. The graphics, music, art direction, & gameplay came together so wonderfully, it greated a gaming experience very unlike anything else out there right now.
If the full game is anything like the demo I had the pleasure of enjoying last year, I have a feeling that FEZ is going to be a big deal. I’m hoping that this game is going to be on the same level as Sword & Sworcery EP, Braid, & Journey.
Polytron Corporation is on to something good here, and I can’t wait to see everything the game has to offer when it hits the XBLA for 800 Microsoft Space-Bucks.
The official cover art for FEZ was designed by Bryan Lee O’Malley (the creator of Scott Pilgrim).
